12-19-25 THOUGHTS
1Pet 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead...” In our context, it’s the “the ministration of the spirit” that gives us “glorious hope”! We behold with “unveiled face” to “a Lord of liberty.” We live in a world that largely sees through “VEILED EYES”. It lives without Jesus! Doesn’t that sound URGENT? Luke 10:2 “And He was saying to them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
2Cor 3:12-18 Therefore having such a hope, we use great boldness in our speech, 13 and are not like Moses, who used to put a veil over his face so that the sons of Israel would not look intently at the end of what was fading away. 14 But their minds were hardened; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Christ. 15 But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart; 16 but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
Our Prayer:
Lord, we see Jesus with unveiled faces, and we thank You. Help us to see more clearly our need to be reapers in the harvest. Help the transformation of our spirits. May we truly turn to our Lord. Remove all of our barriers and give us liberty and joy in Your salvation process. In the name of our Lord, Amen.
